The Family Owned Markets would like to welcome 2 new members to our family. Martins Country Market in Ephrata became a member of our group effective the ad week of 1/5/09. Martins opened the Ephrata Store in 1984 and has expanded the store several times since the opening. They feature a "GAS REWARDS" program that is linked with Charlie's Fuel and Deli which is on West Main St. in Ephrata also. Musser's Markets also announced the opening of a 3rd store in their company. Musser's new store will be at the site of the "former Redners Market" in Columbia/Mountville which is right off the Mountville exit on Rt. 30. Musser's are hoping to have this new location open for business by mid February. These new stores take our total to 16 stores and growing in our family. Please join me in welcoming these new family members.

Casey’s Cuddly Caps
Helping babies in area hospitals off to a great start with a gentle touch

Casey's Cuddly Caps began as an idea for a different type of fundraiser for The Children's Miracle Network.  Since then it has blossomed into an extraordinary outlet for the newborns, both premature and full-term in Lancaster, Berks and surrounding communities!  The ultimate goal is that every baby goes home with a gift from a community who cares and the Big I 105.

Casey has made deliveries to the Susquehanna Pregnancy Center, Women's and Babies Hospital in Lancaster, Children's Hospital in Philadelphia, Ephrata Community Hospital, Chester Hospital, Reading Hospital and Harrisburg Hospital.

It doesn't matter if you knit or crochet, there are thousands of patterns to choose from to start your project!  Currently, hospitals rely more on blankets than caps due to the air conditioning systems used in the summertime.  There is no specific pattern, we just need blankets!

When you've finished your project, there are several drop-off locations across Lancaster and Berks Counties, as well as at our studios, 44 Bethany Rd., Ephrata, PA 17522.

Most of all, thank you!  Thank you for your donations, caps and blankets for the children of our area!
